6. The decision of the Email Marketing Manager at London & Partners will be final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into.
7. Enrants will be deemed to have accepted and agreed to be bound by these terms and conditions.
8. One entry per registered user.
9. Entry costs (where applicable) are as advertised. Entrants are liable for their costs to access telephone, mobile or computer networks.
10. Unless otherwise stated, entries must arrive by the published closing date for the competition. Entries received after this time will be disqualified. London & Partners may, at its discretion, extend the closing date without prior notice.
11. All entries, photographs or other matter submitted as part of a competition entry shall become the property and the copyright of London & Partners. London & Partners reserves the right to transmit them all or in part or use them in any way it thinks fit without the permission of the entrant or payment for such use.
12. Except where it is expressly stated that the winner will be the first correct entry or entries drawn at random from the total entries submitted. Other prizes will be awarded in accordance with the order of priority stated with the competition.
13. London & Partners reserves the right to change the rules or void the competition at any time.
14. In the event of a printing or broadcast error (obvious or otherwise) which affects the competition in any way, London & Partners reserves the right to administer the competition as though the error had not occurred having informed the entrants, through the original media, of the original text.
15. Winner(s) of prizes will be announced on the London & Partners website and/or notified within seven days after the winner(s) have been ascertained. Names of winners and results competitions will be available on request, enclosing a stamped self-addressed envelope.
16. Prize is as stated and unless specifically stated, there is no cash alternative in any circumstances whatsoever to the prizes offered. Prizes are not transferable unless otherwise stated. If for any reason an advertised prize is unavailable London & Partners reserves the right at its absolute discretion to substitute a similar prize of equivalent or greater value. Only one prize will be awarded per household. Please allow 28 days for delivery of all prizes.
17. In some competitions, entry may be restricted to entrants of eighteen years and over. However, where there is no age limit or other restriction of entrants in London & Partners competitions, in accordance with Rule 18, London & Partners will not offer an alternative prize to any winner (such as a minor) who for any reason whatsoever is prevented from receiving or making use of the prize offered. Entrants under the age of 18 should seek permission from the account holder before making an entry via website, phone or mobile phone and must have permission from the parent or guardian.
18. If the winner of a competition is unable to take up a prize for any reason London & Partners reserves the right to award it to an alternative winner, in which case the first winner chosen will not be eligible for any share of the prize whatsoever.
19. All winners are required to co-operate with London & Partners to publicise their win as London & Partners deems appropriate.
20. Failure to comply with any of these rules will disqualify an entry from taking part in the competition. London & Partners reserves the right to disqualify any entry at its absolute discretion.
21. London & Partners' decision is final in all matters concerning a competition. It is a condition of entry to the competition that the entrant agrees to be bound by these rules whether they be broadcast on the London & Partners website and in particular that the decisions of London & Partners and judges on any matter whatsoever arising out of or connected with the competition are final.
22. Where prizes are to be provided by a third party then the winner(s) will be required to complete all appropriate or applicable booking or other formalities direct with such provider. London & Partners will have no responsibility for the acts or defaults of any other persons.
23. The personal details supplied by entrants (name, address and phone number) will only be used for the purpose of the competition entered. Email addresses will be added to our email database.
24. The prize is not in conjunction with any other offer, prize, discount or promotion.
25. All prize elements are non-exchangeable and must be used before 30 June 2018. No cash alternative will be provided.
Prize take-up specifics:
26. DoubleTree by Hilton London Greenwich
26.1. DoubleTree Hilton London Greenwich one-night bed and breakfast for two people. Bedroom is offered subject to availability and the hotel’s booking terms and conditions at The DoubleTree by Hilton London Greenwich. Not valid with group bookings and blackout dates may apply. Offer is valid for bookings made before 30 June 2018 only, for stays taken before 30 June 2018.
27. MBNA Thames Clippers
27.1. MBNA Thames Clippers River Roamer tickets allow unlimited hop on and hop off travel all day from 9am on a chosen date on MBNA Thames Clippers’ services.
27.2. River Roamer tickets can be used in the Central and East Zones routes but are not valid in the West Zone or on River Bus Express services for events at The O2 arena.
28. Southeastern
28.1. You can use these day passes at Southeastern stations only. There are no restrictions for time of day or day of the week.
29. Oyster Cards
29.1. Two Oyster cards pre-loaded with pay-as-you-go credit for travel on the London Underground and the DLR to the value of £15 each.
29.2. If you exceed the value indicated you will be required to top up your card in order to continue travelling on public transport in London.
30. Royal Museums Greenwich
30.1. The prize does not include anything other than that specifically mentioned above and there is no cash alternative.
30.2. The prize cannot be exchanged, transferred, or resold. Resale of tickets will render them void.
30.3. The prize is subject to availability. The promoter reserves the right to alter or vary the Prize due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control without being obliged to refund or exchange tickets.
31. Greenwich Market
31.1. £40.00 voucher for use at Buenos Aires, Sticks ‘n’ Sushi or Champagne + Fromage.
31.2. Valid at Greenwich branches only for use from 1 January 2018 to 30 June 2018.
32. Painted Hall Ceiling Tours
The Painted Hall Ceiling Tours are part of our ambitious project to conserve the ceiling and wall paintings, as such they take place on a working site. You should be aware of the following requirements for health and safety before booking:
32.1. All visitors must arrive 15 minutes before the time shown on their ticket. Latecomers will not be admitted and tickets cannot be refunded.
32.2. All visitors must attend the briefing at the beginning of the tour which will include details on what to do in an emergency situation.
32.3. Stiletto shoes will not be permitted. We strongly advise that you wear closed-toe, closed back shoes with a heel of no more than two inches high.
32.4. Visitors must be fit enough to ascend and descend 70 steps.
32.5. Visitors who have heart or circulation problems, respiratory disease, epilepsy, or are pregnant are advised to carefully consider their condition before they purchase a ticket. Refunds on the day are not permitted.
32.6. Children under the age of six will not be permitted. All children must be able to ascend and descend the staircase on their own. Pushchairs and buggies are not permitted.
32.7. Visitors will be required to wear high visibility jackets and hard hats for the duration of the tour.
32.8. There will be access for wheelchair users. Please contact +44 (0)20 8269 4799. We cannot guarantee access if you do not phone in advance.
33. Up at The O2
33.1. The maximum weight allowance is 21 stone.
33.2. You must not have a waist measurement more than 125 cm or an upper thigh measurement of more than 75 cm due to harness restrictions.
33.3. The minimum age to climb is nine years-old and there is a minimum height of 1.2 metres.
33.4. For climbers under the age of 18, there are new adult to child ratios which need to be adhered to;
33.4.1. One adult to 1 x nine year old
33.4.2. One adult to 2 x ten-twelve year olds
33.4.3. One adult to 4 x thirteen-seventeen year olds
33.5. Up at the O2 is not suitable for pregnant customers.
33.6. Climbers must not be under the influence of alcohol or any other substances.
33.7. The whole experience will take 90 minutes from start to finish and climbers need to be at base camp 15 minutes before the climb.
33.8. We advise to dress for the weather and to wear trousers as opposed to skirts and dresses as you will be wearing a harness.
33.9. We provide full body suits in cold weather and light jackets in the summer. You will also be provided with shoes, so please remember to bring or wear socks on the day.
33.10. There are no refunds or reschedules in the case of late arrival/no show/ arriving on the wrong date/time.
33.11. If you want to reschedule, please call box office +44 (0)208 463 2680 but it has to be 48 hours before your climb. We charge reschedule fee of £3.50 per person.
33.12. We cannot offer refunds after the booking has been processed, unless we cancel the climb due to weather or operational reasons. Gift vouchers are not refundable, but we will offer reschedule or open reschedule if we cancel your climb.
