Rules
of the prize competition "Win a week in South Tyrol and discover a more
mindful way to travel".
IDM Südtirol – Alto Adige (IDM) with registered office at I-39100
Bolzano/Bozen, Piazza Parrocchia/Pfarrplatz, 11, plans to run the prize
competition set out below.
Organiser

Start of prize competition: 16 July 2026
End of prize competition: 30 September 2026
The winners will be selected no later than 30 October 2026.
Purpose
This competition, which takes the form of a quiz, aims to raise
participants' awareness of the importance of a more mindful holiday and
to promote responsible behaviour during a holiday in South Tyrol.
Through informative content and an educational quiz, participants will be
able to learn more about topics such as sustainable mobility, certified
accommodation facilities, local products, nature protection and
renewable energy in South Tyrol.
Prize winners
Any adult who correctly completes the competition quiz and who is
resident in Italy, Germany, Switzerland, Austria, the Netherlands,
Belgium, Luxembourg, Poland, France, the Czech Republic, the United
Kingdom can enter the competition. Anyone can take part. Each person
can enter the competition only once.
Description and overall value of the prize
The prize consists of:
- 1 voucher for 7 nights half board at Locanda Zum Hirschen in
Jenesien/San Genesio (BZ), worth €1,980.00.

- 1 travel voucher, issued based on where the winner lives:
o Trainline voucher worth €600.00 for trains from Italy,
Germany, Switzerland, Austria, the Netherlands, Belgium,
Luxembourg, Poland, France and the Czech Republic. The
voucher is only valid when you select a train station or bus
stop in South Tyrol as your destination.
o Alternatively, a SkyAlps voucher worth € 800.00 for planes
from the United Kingdom, Sardinia and Sicily.
The prize is for 2 people. Terms and conditions for the use of vouchers will
be shown on the vouchers themselves. Any additional costs not covered
by the vouchers are to be borne by the winner.
Maximum prize value: € 2,780.00 (excluding VAT).
The prize cannot be exchanged for cash, is in the winner’s name only and
cannot be transferred by the winner to any third party.
How to enter
IDM Südtirol – Alto Adige assumes no responsibility for any technical
errors, server failures or Internet connection problems, including any kind
of interruptions or malfunctions of services that may prevent a participant
from accessing the quiz and entering the competition. An Internet
connection via landline or mobile device is required to take part.

All adults who correctly complete the competition quiz between 10:00 on 16/07/2026
and 23:59 on 30/09/2026 and provide their contact details can enter the competition. If
you do not get all the answers right, you can retake the quiz and enter once you get the
right answers. To this end, entrants must provide their first name, surname (using their
real name, which must correspond to those shown on their identity document) and a valid
email address. Anyone residing in Italy, Germany, Switzerland, Austria, the Netherlands,
Belgium, Luxembourg, Poland, France, the Czech Republic, the United Kingdom may take
part.
Users who, in the indisputable opinion of the organiser, have won by suspicious and/or
fraudulent means or who have interfered with the normal course of the promotion, will
not be able to claim the prize obtained in this way. The organiser reserves the right to
take all measures permitted by current regulations to limit and prevent any attempt to
circumvent the system in place.
Each person may enter the competition only once. Multiple entries will not be accepted.
Exclusions
Employees of the company IDM Südtirol – Alto Adige, as well as anyone with a
professional relationship with the organiser of the competition are excluded from taking
part.
Participation is subject to compliance with the conditions set out herein.
Any prizes won by entrants who have attempted to influence the proper conduct of the
draw by fraudulent or unfair means will be considered void.
Selection ofthe winners
At the end of the promotion and no later than 30 October 2026, the organisation will
select the winner impartially and randomly from a digital list containing the data of all
users who entered during the duration of the competition.
When drawing the winner, a random draw will take place to select 6 reserve names, in
case the prize is not claimed by the entrant drawn as the winner. Reserve names will be
used in the following cases:
- if the entry does not comply with the provisions of the rules;
- if the prize is not claimed by the entrant drawn as the winner;
- in the event of any irregularity in the registration and participation in this competition,
verified by the organisation.

Notification ofthe winner
The winner will be notified by email within 10 working days of the draw date. In this
notification, the winner will be asked to respond, within 5 working days of receipt, by
sending the form to claim/refuse the prize, completed and signed, together with a
photocopy of their identity card. Failure to return the form will be deemed failure to claim
the prize. Failure to claim the prize will result in exclusion from the competition and the
prize being awarded to the first eligible reserve.
Terms and procedures for awarding the prize
The prize will be delivered to the winner within 180 days of the decision. The prize cannot
be claimed as a cash payment. The prize will be sent by email.

cannot be converted into cash. The winner will receive the prize by email in the form of a
voucher sent to the email address provided by the winner when entering the
competition/claiming the prize: the email will contain the voucher and all the necessary
information to proceed with the reservation.
The Organising Company assumes no responsibility in the event of non-delivery of prizes
due to the incorrect email address being provided by the entrant.
The organiser accepts no liability for events beyond its control arising from the use of
services provided by third parties.
It is also specified that:
- the Organiser does not provide any insurance, whether medical, legal or travel
insurance, to cover events such as the cancellation of the trip/experience/event or events
that may occur during the period of use of the prize.
The winners may not contest the prizes awarded to them, nor request their change or
replacement. Prizes are not transferable to third parties. Prizes cannot be exchanged for
cash or gold tokens.
The Organiser undertakes to provide the winner with a prize of the same nature and/or
type, both in terms of features and market value, if at the time of delivery the prize (or
part thereof) has been changed or updated in form and/or substance compared with that
advertised. If this is not possible, the winner will be asked to choose another prize of
equal or greater market value from those offered by the Organiser.
Declarations
Participation in the competition implies full knowledge and acceptance of the rules of
participation and the privacy policy relating to the competition.
Advertising

The competitionwill be advertised on the Internet (social media, newsletters andwebsites).
Advertising communication must comply with these rules of participation.
In any case, the organiser of the competition reserves the right to use any other means of
communication that appears suitable to bring this prize draw to the attention of the
recipients of the same.
Right ofrecourse
The organiser of the competition waives the right of recourse provided for in art. 30
D.P.R. 600/1973.
Personal data
The draw takes place in private. Winners will be notified by email. Only fully completed
entries are eligible for the draw. IDM Südtirol – Alto Adige assumes no responsibility for
any issues that may affect the final outcome of the prize draw or participation in the prize
draw itself. IDM Südtirol – Alto Adige reserves the right to change the course of the prize
draw for reasons of force majeure, regulatory requirements or unforeseeable
organisational needs.
Cash payment of the prize or any alternative is not possible.
Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Rules shall be subject to the exclusive
jurisdiction of the Court of Bolzano/Bozen, Italy.
Information regarding the protection of personal data (EU Regulation 2016/679): data will
be processed exclusively for the purpose of running this prize competition. Data will not
be used for promotional purposes. Entrants in the prize competition may request the
rectification or supplementation of their data at any time (art. 16) and, if where certain
reasons exist, the deletion of their personal data (art. 17. By taking part in the prize draw,
entrants consent to the processing of their personal data pursuant to EU Regulation
2016/679. The data controller is IDM Südtirol – Alto Adige, Piazza Parrocchia/Pfarrplatz
11, 39100 Bolzano/Bozen, in the person of its legal representative Johann Pichler.
Reference regulations
This competition falls within the scope of exemptions as referred to in art. 6, paragraph 1,
letter e) of D.P.R. no. 430 of 26 October 2001 and therefore is not subject to the prize
draws provided for therein. Although not expressly governed by these Regulations, Articles
1989 et seq. of the Italian Civil Code regarding promises to the public shall apply, where
compatible.
