Terms & Conditions
1. General
1.1 These terms and conditions apply to the Shimano Gravity Footwear promotion (the “Promotion”). By participating in the Promotion, you are deemed to have accepted these terms and conditions.
1.2 The Promotion is organized by Shimano Europe B.V. (“Shimano”), High Tech Campus 92, 5656 AG Eindhoven, the Netherlands.
1.3 No entry fee is required to enter and participate in the Promotion.
1.4 These terms and conditions and all other information regarding the Promotion are available on https://campaign.rideshimano.com/shimano-gravity-footwear/ (“Shimano’s website”)
2. Participation
2.1. The Promotion is open to persons aged 18 or the legal age in the participants’ jurisdiction to enter into a promotion, whichever is greater, residing in Europe. Employees of Shimano and its affiliates and their immediate family members (spouse, children) and any person directly or indirectly involved in the development or administration of the Promotion are not eligible to enter or win.
2.2 Residents of Italy, Bosnia Herzegovina, Kosovo, Macedonia, Albania, Russia, and Belarus are excluded from participation in the Promotion.
2.3 Participants must register for the promotion via the online subscription form published on Shimano’s website (Clause 1.4).
2.4 The registration period is open until September 30th, 2024, 00:00:00 (“closing date). Registrations received outside this time frame will be excluded from the Promotion. No responsibility can be accepted for entries not received for whatever reason.
3. Promotion rules
3.1 Participants must register and complete the form published on Shimano’s website, according to Clause 1.4, to be eligible to participate in the Promotion.
3.2 Participants must enter his personal details in the form and tell us what kind of MTB rider they are. (“Challenge”)
3.3. From the participants who registered and completed on time the challenge conditions set out in clause 3.2, 3 winners will be chosen per month by a selected jury conformed by 2 from Shimano’s marketing team based on the originality of their challenge outcome.
3.4 If the jury can’t reach unanimity for selecting a winner because the originality and evaluation scores are the same, the decisive factor will be the entry registered first on the website.
3.4 The 3 will be selected on first Monday of the consecutive month by Shimano’s marketing team. The winners will be informed within 7 working days to their registered email.
3.5 If a winner does not confirm acceptance of the prize within 7 working days of being contacted by Shimano, the winner will be deemed to have declined the prize and will no longer be eligible to receive the prize. Shimano is entitled to choose a new winner.
3.6 Shimano reserves the right to withhold one or more prizes if, in accordance with the conditions in Section 3, no winner can be appointed after the closing date.
4. Prizes
4.1 The 3 winner(s) will receive all one pair of MTB shoes from the Shimano Gravity Footwear (GE or GF) line up and can be either flat pedal or spd. (Worth max €230)
4.2 All prizes are non-exchangeable, non-transferable and not redeemable for cash or other prizes.
4.3 The prize winner shall be responsible for paying taxes, if any, according to local jurisdiction.
5. Data Protection
5.1. Any personal information that participants provide in connection with the Promotion shall be used by Shimano to administer this Promotion, contact participants, and for the other purposes set forth in Shimano’s privacy policy located at http://www.shimano.com/en/privacypolicy.html.
6. Disclaimer
6.1. Shimano does not accept any liability regarding any damages, of any kind, arising out or related to (participation in) the Promotion.
6.2. In case of any situation of force majeure or cyberattacks, Shimano reserves the right to withhold the prizes. Shimano is not obliged to hand out an alternative prize.
6.3. Unless the contexts otherwise demand, words importing any gender shall be interpreted to mean any or all genders.
6.4. Contact details submitted by the participants in order to register for the Promotion will only be used in relation to the Promotion.
6.5 These terms and conditions will be supplied for in other languages, each of which shall be deemed an original but which, taken together, shall constitute one and the same instrument. Should any conflict arise between the English language version and any translation hereof, the English language version shall prevail.
