Terms & Conditions

1. Organization

The Rezidor Hotel Group NV/SA, a Belgian company having its registered address at Avenue du
Bourget 44, 1130 Brussels (“Rezidor”), organizes a prize draw which is not subject to any financial
commitment or purchase (the “Contest”). The Contest is operated on Rezidor’s behalf by its appointed
agent These Days a Belgian company, with registered address at Karel Oomsstraat 47, 2018
Antwerp, Belgium (“These Days”). The following terms and conditions set out the requirements for
participation in the Contest (“Terms & Conditions”). Upon participation in the Contest these Terms &
Conditions apply, any Participant is therefore advised and encouraged to carefully read and
understand these Terms & Conditions prior to participation.

2. Participation

Participation in this Contest is open to persons in Europe (“Participant”). Participants must be at least
18 years or older at the time of entering the Contest. Employees of Rezidor, or of any its affiliates, or
of These Days, same as the immediate family members or members of the household of such
employees, as well as all other persons associated with the Contest, are not eligible for participation
in the Contest. Participation in the Contest is free and without purchase obligation.

3. Duration and Type of Contest

The Contest is open from 26 May 2011 through 20 June 2011 (“Contest Period”). Access to the
Contest will be provided online at http://www.design.radissonblu.com (the “Website”), Participants are
requested to select one or more types of experiences and one or more types of styles of their choice.
The participant chooses then one of the hotels that are displayed. Participants need to enter their first
name, last name, country of residence, email address and gender and answer a multiple choice
question and an open question. One participation per email address is allowed, These Days may
control the validity of the registrations.

4. Prizes

4.1 The prize consists consist of one stay for one week (seven nights) at the hotel that was selected
by the participant as preferred hotel. The stay is for two persons based on double occupancy, Super
Breakfast included.

The prize is valid until 31 December 2012, the 7 nights’ accommodation must be consecutive nights.
The winner will be notified by email and published on the microsite homepage –
http://www.design.radissonblu.com.

4.3 The prize is excluding any other amenities such as minibar, laundry, parking, Internet etc., as well
as transportation to and from the hotel, or airfare. Any extra beds, e.g. for children and/or upgrades
must be paid for separately. All costs incurred by the winner on top of the hotel room while utilizing the
hotel-nights must be paid directly to the hotel by the winner at check-out.

4.4 Advance reservations to utilize the hotel-nights must be made at least 1 week before arrival date,
and is subject to availability in the standard double room category. Cancellation of a reservation must
be made no later than the day before arrival day.

4.5 The winner will coordinate his/her stay with the Rezidor Hotel Group head office.

4.6 The prize cannot be redeemed for cash or be otherwise exchanged, transferred or
exploited in connection with any other contest or campaign.




5. Selection and announcement of winner

During the week following the end of the Contest Period, Rezidor will together with an independent
third party determine which participant had correctly answered the first question and had given the
most original answer on the second question. The winner is obligated, if requested by Rezidor, to
present documentation verifying the winner’s compliance with these Terms & Conditions.

Rezidor has the right to publish the names of the winner on the Website and the winner will also be
contacted personally via email, during the week following the week of the prize draw, for the main
prize during the week following the week of the end of the Contest Period.

If the winner has not replied within 7 days after Rezidor has sent notification, Rezidor will take
reasonable measures in order to contact the winner again. If a winner is not able or willing,
irrespective of the reason, to receive his/her prize or do not contact Rezidor to claim his prize within
21 days from the first contact to the winner, Rezidor reserves the right to otherwise dispose of the
prize(s), i.e. grant the prize to another randomly chosen Participant.

Rezidor reserves the right to postpone the time for announcement and notification of the winner.
Rezidor assumes no liability in this connection.

6. Data Privacy

Participant consents that any personal data required for signing-in for participation in the Contest may
be stored, processed and used by Rezidor and These Days for the purposes of the Contest. These
Days and Rezidor will use these data in accordance with the Rezidor privacy policy as published
under www.radissonblu.com only. Subject to the Participant’s prior consent, which may be given upon
registration of score results, the Participants personal data may be used to inform the Participants of
Rezidor’s products and services and programme announcements.

The Participant is at any time entitled to:
 request information on the personal data on the Participant being processed by These Days on
behalf of Rezidor,

 ask for blocking or deletion of the personal data being processed by These Days on behalf of
Rezidor and to receive information on the identity of the recipients of the personal data,

 request information on any other important matters relating to the processing of the Participant’s
personal data in accordance with applicable data protection legislation,

 withdraw his/her consent to the processing and disclosure of personal data, either in whole
regarding specific personal data or purposes, although doing so will affect the ability to participate in
the Contest.

All personal data collected in connection with the Contest will be processed in accordance with
applicable data protection legislation. All personal data on the Participant related to the Contest, will
be deleted no later than three (3) months after the end of the Contest Period.

7. Liability

Rezidor and These Days assume no liability in connection with missing entries, technical problems or
lack of connection or overload of the Internet, the Website, or any loss, liability or any direct or indirect
damage incurred due to technical problems or other circumstances, including but not limited to faults
or delay of the prize, consequences of any virus, data bug or abnormity.

All Participants are solely responsible for their participation in the Contest. Participation
in the Contest implies knowledge and acceptance of the characteristics and limits of the technologies
used by the Internet and associated systems, notably with regards to the technical performance,
response times, examination or transferring of information, risks of interruption, any general inherent
risks of connection and transmission, the absence of protection for certain data against possible
misappropriation, and the risk of contamination by viruses possibly circulating within the network.


Rezidor is not liable in any way in connection with the participation in the Contest nor in the utilization
of the prize, including in connection with transportation and theft.

Rezidor may at any time change, annul, terminate, suspend or extend the Contest without incurring
liability.


8. Marketing

By entering the Contest and accepting these Terms & Conditions, the winner accepts and consents
to be available to a reasonable extent for various promotional activities in connection with
announcement of the winner, without receiving further financial consideration or the attribution of
rights other than the prize awarded.

9. Applicable law and jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with Belgian law, and the
Courts of Brussels shall have exclusive jurisdiction in the event of any dispute.
