Qatar Airways Travel Festival prize terms and conditions
1. SUMMARY: The “Qatar Airways Travel Festival” promotion is sponsored by Qatar Airways (the “Sponsor” or “Qatar Airways”). The Prizes are as given in the prize schedule below. The promotion and Prizes are subject to these Official rules.
2. ELIGIBILITY: The Promotion is open to legal residents of eligible countries who are at least 18 years old as of 11 January 2016 and have a valid passport at the time of participation in the Promotion. Employees, officers, directors and agents of Qatar Airways, its subsidiaries who are involved in organizing this Promotion and each of their immediate families (spouse, parents, siblings and children) and household members are not eligible to participate in the Promotion. A ticket purchase is necessary to participate in this promotion. Unless stated otherwise, prizes will only be awarded after the ticket purchased during the promotional period is flown. If a ticket is cancelled or is partially cancelled, the prize may be forfeited.

3. PARTICIPANTS AGREE TO RULES: All participants must comply with these Official Rules. All interpretations of these Official Rules by QATAR AIRWAYS are final.
4. PROMOTION: This Promotion commences on 11 January 2016 at 00:01 local time for the passenger’s point of departure and ends on 17 January 2016 at 23:59 local time for the passenger’s point of departure.
5. HOW TO PARTICIPATE IN THE PROMOTION:
a. Book a Qatar Airways ticket on www.qatarairways.com/travelfestival during the promotional period. All confirmed tickets issued until the end of each day will be included in the sweepstakes on the next day. 7 sweepstakes will be conducted during the promotion period.
b. Only bookings with issued tickets will be included in the sweepstakes.
c. A total of 152 prizes will be given away every day for 7 days through random drawing from all eligible entries. The first draw will be held on the 12th of January. The last draw will be held on 18th of January 2016.
d. Once the Winner has been selected, they will be sent a Prize Announcement email using the email address provided at time of booking. The Winner will have to download a Prize Voucher from the link provided in the Prize Announcement email within 20 days of the email being deployed from Qatar Airways servers.
e. The prize redemption process will be detailed in the Prize Voucher.
f. If a potential Winner does not meet the eligibility requirement or does not download the Prize Voucher within the specified time, the Sponsor reserves the right to forfeit the prize.
g. The Sponsor’s decisions will be final in all matters relating to this Contest/Sweepstakes.
6. PRIZES:

If the winner is a Family member then raffle Qmiles will be credited to the Main Member’s Account.
If the winner is not a member then the passenger should enrol to Privilege Club and update the booking with the membership number before 25 JAN 2016 (or the first flight on the booking, whichever is earlier) to receive raffle Qmiles.
Membership details must belong to the main member’s account and not of a third party.
Raffle Qmiles will be credited to the main member's account within 30 days from the flight date.
Only tickets booked through qatarairways.com will be considered for raffle draw.
Qmiles are valid for a period of three years.
Qmiles are not redeemable for cash, not refundable and not exchangeable.
Qmiles in Member’s account cannot be converted into cash and cannot be exchanged for cash.

Upgrade to Business Class is valid for 1 passenger (winner) subject to availability.
Where an upgrade is not available for at least one of the flights or the winner is not eligible for an upgrade, he/she will be awarded 50,000 Qmiles.
If the winner is not a member then the passenger should enrol to Privilege Club and update their booking with the membership number before 25 January 2016 to receive the Qmiles.
Upgrade to Business Class is subject to availability, it is capacity controlled and may not be available on all flights and days, particularly during peak travel periods.
Upgrade to Business Class has no cash value and is non-transferrable, non-changeable, non-refundable & valid on Qatar Airways operated flights only.
No transfer, substitution, sale, or cash redemption of upgrade to Business Class is permitted.

7. GENERAL RESTRICTIONS ON ALL PRIZES: Prizes are provided “as is” and without any warranty, representation or guarantee, express or implied, in fact or in law, relative to the Prizes, including any express warranties provided by a Prize supplier that are sent along with the Prizes and any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. No cash redemption or prize substitutions are allowed. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute prize of equal or greater value in Sponsor’s discretion or if a Prize becomes unavailable without advance notice. Sponsor shall have no responsibility or obligation to a Winner who is ineligible for a Prize, or is unable to or who does not accept or utilize the Prize awarded, for any reason. All travel arrangements must be booked through Qatar Airways, in compliance with instructions that will be given to the Prize Winners. 8. PUBLICITY RELEASE: Subject to applicable law, each Winner irrevocably grants Sponsor the right to use the Winner’s name, voice, photograph and/or biographical data for advertising, promotional and/or publicity purposes in all forms of media, worldwide in perpetuity, without any obligation or consideration except for the awarding of the prize to the Winner.

10. RELEASE OF LIABILITY: Each entrant hereby agrees to indemnify and hold the Promotion Entities harmless from and against any and all third party claims, actions or proceedings of any kind and from any and all damages, liabilities, costs and expenses relating to or arising out of any breach or alleged breach of any of the warranties, representations or agreements of entrant hereunder.

FORCE MAJEURE: EXCEPT AS OTHERWISE EXPRESSLY SET OUT IN THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS, QATAR AIRWAYS AND ITS SUBSIDIARIES, AFFILIATES, DIVISIONS, AND ITS EMPLOYEES, OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE OR RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY FAILURE TO PERFORM, OR DELAY IN PERFORMANCE OF, ANY OF THEIR RESPECTIVE OBLIGATIONS THAT ARE CAUSED BY EVENTS OUTSIDE OF THEIR REASONABLE CONTROL. QATAR AIRWAYS IS NOT RESPONSIBLE IF THE PROMOTION TERMINATES OR ANY PRIZE CANNOT BE USED OR REDEEMED DUE TO ACTS OF GOD, WAR, TERRORISM, EXPLOSIONS, FIRES, FLOODS OR OTHER NATURAL CALAMITIES, BAD WEATHER, STRIKES, RIOT, CIVIL DISRUPTION, INTERNET FAILURES, OR OTHER ACTS OF GOD OR THE WINNER, OR FOR ANY OTHER OCCURRENCES WHICH ARE OUTSIDE OF QATAR AIRWAYS’ REASONABLE CONTROL.
12. DISCLAIMERS: If this Promotion cannot be administered as contemplated for any reason, Sponsor reserves the right at its sole discretion to suspend, modify or terminate the Promotion, winner selection, or prizes without prior notice.
13. GOVERNING LAW: This Promotion is subject to all applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations. All issues and questions concerning this Promotion will be governed by the laws of the State of Qatar and is VOID WHERE PROHIBITED OR RESTRICTED BY LAW.
14. SEVERABILITY: The invalidity, illegality, or unenforceability of any portion or provision of these Terms and Conditions shall in no way affect the validity, legality, or enforceability of any other portion or provision hereof. Any invalid, illegal, or unenforceable portion or provision shall be deemed severed from these Terms and Conditions and the balance of these Terms and Conditions shall be construed and enforced as if the Contract did not contain such invalid, illegal, or unenforceable portion or provision.
15. TAXES: Unless stated otherwise, winners are responsible for paying any applicable federal or local taxes on prizes. Sponsor will comply with all IRS and other government reporting obligations; winners will be asked to provide tax and personal information as a condition of being awarded a prize.
16. WINNER NAME: The winner’s name may be posted on Sponsor’s social media channels (Twitter, Facebook, Instagram) and/or in the Sponsor’s website.
17. SPONSOR: This Promotion is sponsored by Qatar Airways,Q.C.S.C. PO Box 22550, Doha, Qatar (“Sponsor”). The decisions of the Sponsor are final and binding on all aspects of this Promotion.
