1. Organizer
1.1 The organizer of the competition is HUAWEI TECHNOLOGIES Dusseldorf GmbH, Düsseldorf, Germany (herein: “Organizer”).
1.2 Participants shall comply with the terms of use ( https://www.hihonor.com/fr/cmsContent?key=web_cms_terms) and community guidelines for user submissions and/or uploads. Submissions that violate the applicable terms of use or guidelines shall be disqualified.
2. Eligibility for Participation
2.1 The competition is open to all persons who, at the date of entry, are (1) aged 18 years or over; and (2) who are resident in one of the following countries: France
2.2 The Organizer’s employees, their immediate family members, and employees of cooperation partners who are or were involved in creating or implementing the competition, are excluded from participation.
2.3 Participation is only possible on one’s own behalf and joint submissions are not allowed.
3. Participation
3.1 Participation in the competition is free of charges and fees and does not require the purchase of goods and/or services.
3.2 The competition starts on November 26th 2020, 8:00 am [Berlin Time]. The deadline for entries is December 9th 2020, 23:59 pm [Berlin Time] (“Entry Period”). Submissions received outside of the Entry Period will not be considered.
3.3 During the Entry Period, the competition is open to all participants who ask and/or answer a question in the comments on the competition page :

3.4 The entry must be your own original work (see section 6.1 for further information). Modifying, enhancing or altering a third party’s pre-existing work does not qualify as your original work.
3.5 Submissions containing any defamatory, obscene, illegal, offensive, or any other comparably unsuitable material will be disqualified and withdrawn from the competition
3.6 Participants can only enter this competition individually.
3.7 The Organizer accepts no responsibility for incomplete, incorrectly completed, lost or delayed entries to the prize draw or for any malfunctions or failures in the software that has been designed to maintain the participant’s details.
3.8 The Organizer reserves the right to exclude a participant who violates these Conditions of Participation, tampers with the competition, or makes false representations or statements that violate applicable law or infringe third-party rights. If a participant is excluded, prizes and benefits may be subsequently revoked and reclaimed. In this case, a new winner may be determined pursuant to the procedure in section 4.2.
4. Prizes, determination, and notification of winners
4.1 The prize are described in the contest based on the comment numbers. The winner would be selected depending on the criteria mention on the contest post.
4.2 HONOR Community members (in charge of the platform daily operation) will determine the winner on or around December 10th, 2020 based on the criteria of the contest post.
4.3 The winners will be notified via Private Message. The prize will be sent by the Organizer via post to an address provided by the winners which must be in their country of residence.
4.5 The notified winners must accept their prize within 72 hours after receiving the notification of the prize by way of replying to the Private Message as set forth in Section 4.4. If a winner fails to accept his/her prize within this period, his/her prize shall be forfeited.
5. Other General Prize Terms
5.1 The winner will be responsible for any taxes or charges incurred in claiming the prize.
5.2 Prizes are subject to availability and the Organizer reserves the right to replace the prize with an alternative prize of equal or higher value if circumstances beyond the Organizer’s control make it necessary to do so.
5.3 Compensation of the prizes in cash, their exchange, or their transfer to other persons is excluded.
5.4 The Organizer does not accept any responsibility if you are not able to attend the event.
6. Intellectual property
6.1 The participant warrants that each of his/her submitted written entries (herein together: “Contribution”) is free of third party rights, in particular free of copyrights, logos and other intellectual property rights (e. g. patents, trademarks, design rights, know-how etc.), and that the participant has the right to grant a license to the Organizer pursuant to section 6.3.
6.2 The participant agrees to release, discharge, indemnify, defend and hold harmless the Organizer (including its affiliate, officers, employees, and agents) against any claim by any third party due to a breach of section 6.1.
6.3 By submitting work to this competition, entrants accept that the organizer has the right to use their submissions for campaigns and product and brand marketing for two years for free, including but not limited to using submissions in network media, print media, printings, exhibitions, retail stores, road shows, digital content, out-of-home media and other marketing activities.
7. Data Protection
By submitting an entry, participants will provide their personal information which will be used and disclosed by the Organizer and its authorized agents for the purposes of competition administration and prize fulfilment. 8. Miscellaneous
8.1The Organizer’s decisions regarding all promotional matters will be final, and no correspondence will be entered into.
8.2 In the event of circumstances outside the reasonable control of the Organizer, or otherwise where fraud, abuse, and/or an error (human or technical) affects or could affect the proper operation of this promotion or the awarding of prizes, the Organizer reserves the right to cancel or amend these terms and conditions at any stage, but will endeavour to minimize the effect to participants in order to avoid undue disappointment.
8.3 If any provision of these Conditions of Participation is held invalid by any law, rule, order or regulation of any government, or by the final determination of any court of competent jurisdiction, such invalidity shall not affect the enforceability of any other provisions not held to be invalid.
8.4 All legal relationships arising because or in connection with these terms and conditions and the competition are subject to German Law.
Mandatory laws of the participant’s resident country explicitly apply.
