(the "Administrator"), its parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, contractors, distributors, sales representatives, retailers, advertising and promotion agencies, and any others engaged in the development, production, execution or distribution of this Contest are not eligible to participate. The Contest is subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations. Participation in the Contest constitutes entrant’s full and unconditional agreement to these Official Rules and Administrator’s decisions, which are final and binding in all matters related to the Contest. Entries may be void due to legal constraints as determined by Administrator in its sole discretion (e.g. Contest is ineligible to be offered in a given jurisdiction, or prize cannot be shipped to a given address or jurisdiction). Winning a prize is contingent upon fulfilling all requirements set forth herein and at Administrator’s sole discretion as to meeting eligibility criteria.

TIMING: Contest runs from October 6, 2014 at 8:00:00 AM EST until October 20, 2014 at 11:59:59 PM EST (“Entry Period”). Administrator’s computer is the official time-keeping device for the Contest.
HOW TO PARTICIPATE: You must have a We Heart It account to participate. If you do not have a We Heart It account, it is free to create one. During the open dates of the Contest, (a) follow Hollister Co. on We Heart It (if you have not already), (b) create a board on We Heart It which is inspired by the Hollister Sparkle in SoCal Board on Hollister Co’s page on We Heart It, (c) include at least three (3) images from the Hollister Sparkle in So Cal Board, in addition to any other items you think are shine and sparkle inspired (do not add items to your collection which bear readily identifiable third party trademarks), (d) tag #SparkleInSoCalContest (“Entry”). You may submit as many Entries as you like during the Contest. If you are a potential winner, after the close of the Contest you will receive a message from the Contest Host with instructions on how to verify your win with the Administrator.
WINNER SELECTION AND NOTIFICATION: After close of the Contest, Contest Host will select from among all eligible entries received during the entire Contest, five (5) Submissions which best align with the Contest's Sparkle and Shine theme as determined by Contest Host in its sole discretion. Entries will be judged by the Contest Host using the following criteria: (a) number of "hearts" the collection received; (b) overall composition quality of the photo; (c) ability to portray the Sparkle and Shine theme; and (d) originality of outfitting (creative use of product and styling).
Administrator reserves the right (but is not obligated) to increase both the number of winners and prizes awarded at any time. Potential Contest winners will be notified by Contest Host with a request and instructions to verify their win with Administer. Potential winners will be required to respond to Administrator within three (3) days of when the initial notification was sent by Contest Host, and will be required to confirm several pieces of information to verify their win. Potential winners must confirm their name (first/last), email address, city/state of residence (or full mailing address if applicable), and that they agree to these Contest Terms. If a potential winner does not respond within three (3) days of when the initial notification comment was made, or refuses to confirm the requested information, then the potential winner will be disqualified and forfeits their right to the prize and an alternate winner may be selected. Prizes will be sent to winners at the respective address provided after their win is verified.
PRIZES: Each winner will receive one (1) Hollister Co. E-Gift Card for USD $500.00. If winner is from a jurisdiction for which Administrator does not operate or offer E-Gift Cards due to legal constraints, prize will be locally valid Hollister Co. gift card as determined by Administrator in its sole discretion of equal value (ARV USD $500.00). There will be five (5) total winners selected. The E-Gift Card will be delivered directly to the winner via an email address they provide when verifying their win. Hollister Co. E-Gift Cards are redeemable for merchandise only in the US or Canada either online or in stores. Note, prize received may only be valid either in stores, or online, as applicable based on the jurisdiction in which winner resides. E-Gift Card cannot be redeemed for cash unless required by applicable law. It cannot be replaced if lost or stolen. Purchases in a currency different from the currency of the card will be subject to an exchange rate conversion on the day of payment. GENERAL RULES OF PARTICIPATION: This Contest is subject to all applicable federal, state and local laws, and is void where prohibited or restricted by law. By participating in this Contest, the participant agrees: (a) to abide by and be bound by these Contest Terms and decisions of Administrator which shall be final in all respects relating to the Contest, including without limitation the interpretation of these Contest Terms; (b) the laws of the United States and the State of Ohio apply to and govern this Contest and any claims must be raised and resolved in the federal or state courts located in Columbus, OH, United States; (c) if, for any reason whatsoever, this Contest, in Administrator's sole opinion, is not capable of running as planned, including, but not limited to, to comply with legal requirements or by reason of infection by computer virus, tampering, fraud, technical failures, or any other cause which, in the Administrator's sole judgment, corrupts or affects the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this Contest, Administrator reserves the right at its sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend this Contest and limit entries to those submitted prior to the action taken, or to proceed in such a manner as may be deemed fair and equitable by Administrator in its sole discretion; (d) if such cancellation, termination, modification or suspension occurs, notification will be posted on the page where the Contest is listed; (e) Administrator reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual it finds to be tampering with the operation of the Contest, or to be acting in violation of the terms of this or any other Contest; (f) any attempt by any person to deliberately damage any website or undermine the legitimate operation of the Contest is a violation of criminal and civil law, and, should such an attempt be made, Administrator reserves the right to seek damages from any such person to the fullest extent permitted by law; (g) Administrator is not responsible for late, incomplete, misdirected, delayed, or undelivered entries, or entries not timely received due to telephone failures, Internet or website failures and disruptions, and ISP problems; (h) submission of incomplete information may result in disqualification of entry; (i) Administrator's failure to enforce any term of these Contest Terms shall not constitute a waiver of that provision; (j) in the event of a dispute as to any entry, the authorized account holder of the social media account used to enter will be deemed to be the participant. The "authorized account holder" of a social media account, is the natural person who registered for the profile. NO LIABILITY/RELEASE: By participating, the participant agrees to release, discharge, indemnify and hold harmless the Administrator against any claims made by participants, or any other third parties, related in any way to the operation of this Contest as well as any other claims, damages or liability due to any injuries, damages or losses to any person (including death) or property of any kind resulting in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from acceptance, possession, misuse or use of any prize, participation in any Contest-related activity, or participation in this Contest in general. Any information collected by participating in this Contest shall be used only in a manner consistent with these Contest Terms and with Administrator’s privacy policy available at HollisterCo.com and Contest Host’s privacy policy available at weheartit.com/about/privacy-policy.
GRANT OF RIGHTS: By entering, and except where prohibited by law, you (or your parent/guardian if you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction) grant to Sponsor (and any of its agents, affiliates or subsidiaries) the irrevocable, non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, sub-licensable, assignable, and unlimited right and permission, but not the obligation, to (1) utilize, reproduce, exploit, alter, edit, modify, distribute, publish, exhibit, digitize, broadcast, display, publicly perform, and prepare derivative works of the Entry in any form or media now or hereafter known for any and all purposes deemed by Administrator in its sole discretion to be reasonable and prudent uses for the purpose of furthering its valid business objectives, including but not limited to reposting the Entry online (e.g., on our brand websites and social media pages) and (2) use your name, online handle, and profile/avatar picture in connection with, or to reference the fact of, your Entry. You understand that your Entry may be edited in the sole discretion of Administrator. You represent and warrant that the Entry will not contain any third party trademarked or copyrighted material, or material that is subject to other third party proprietary rights, unless you have permission from the rightful owner of such material or you are otherwise legally entitled to post the material and to grant Administrator all relevant licenses and permissions to use the material as contemplated herein. You agree not to take any legal action against, and release and discharge, Administrator, and its directors, officers, employees, agents and affiliates, or any other person or entity acting on its behalf, from all claims in connection with the use of the Entry as contemplated herein.
The selection and arrangement of content on the Hollister Co.’s We Heart It Page and Collections is owned exclusively by Administrator. Use of Administrator’s intellectual property contained on the Hollister Co.’s We Heart It Page and Collections (including trademarks and copyrighted material), unless specifically permitted by the Contest Terms, is prohibited. In addition, you represent and warrant that any original content you submit to the Contest will not infringe any copyright, trademark, publicity, privacy or other third party proprietary rights or agreements. You further grant to Administrator the irrevocable, non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, sub-licensable, assignable, and unlimited right and permission, but not the obligation, to utilize, reproduce, exploit, adapt, edit, modify, distribute, publish, exhibit, digitize, broadcast, display, and prepare derivative works of any original content you submit to the Hollister Co.’s We Heart It Page and Collections, in whole or in part, in any form, media or technology now known or hereafter created, for any and all purposes deemed by Administrator in its sole discretion to be reasonable and prudent uses for the purpose of furthering its valid business objectives.
