ASUS “CES 2024 ASUS Online Launch Event” Official Rules, Terms and Conditions
This Giveaway Event – CES 2024 ASUS Online Launch Event Giveaway ("Giveaway”) is hosted by ASUSTeK Computer Inc. (“ASUS”).
Detailed information with respect to how to participate and win prizes in connection with this specific Giveaway, ASUS Terms of Use Notice, and ASUS Privacy Policy, constitutes part of this ASUS “CES 2024 ASUS Online Launch Event” Official Rules, Terms and Conditions (collectively “Official Rules” or “Terms”). Participating in this Giveaway is deemed acceptance of these Terms. ASUS may at any time revise the Terms and other rules set forth by ASUS. Eligible Entrant (as defined below) shall be bound by any such revisions.
NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. Participation is permitted irrespective of purchase of a product/service. A purchase will not improve Eligible Entrant’s chances of winning.
Employees of ASUS and its affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising representatives, agencies or any other person professionally connected with the Giveaway, and the immediate families of any of the foregoing persons or entities, are NOT ELIGIBLE for this Giveaway
Eligible Entrant:
This Giveaway is open to entrants at least 20 years old and considered an adult by the laws of the country where you reside. The entrants shall be legal residents in Albania, American Samoa, Argentina, Armenia, Australia, Austria, Azerbaijan, Bahrain, Bangladesh, Belarus, Belgium, Bolivia, Bosnia And Herzegovina, Brazil, Bulgaria, Cambodia, Canada, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Ecuador, Egypt, El Salvador, Sweden (Nordic), Finland, France, Georgia, Germany , Greece, Guatemala, Hong Kong, Hungary, Iceland, India, Indonesia, Ireland, Italy, Japan , Jordan, Kazakhstan, Kenya, Kuwait, Latvia, Libyan Arab Jamahiriya, Lithuania, Macedonia, Malaysia, Mexico, Moldova Republic Of Monaco, Myanmar, Nepal, Netherlands, Belgium, New Zealand, Nigeria, Norway, Oman, Palestine, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, Philippines, Poland, Portugal, Qatar, Republic Of Montenegro, Republic Of Serbia, Romania, Saudi Arabia Mie, Singapore, Slovakia, Slovenia, South Africa, South Korea, Spain, Srilanka, Suriname, Sweden, Switzerland, Taiwan, Thailand, Türkiye, Ukraine, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom, Uruguay, USA, Uzbekistan, Vietnam , Yemen, and Yemen Democratic (the “Giveaway Territory”). The Giveaway is limited to the Giveaway Territory because those are the territories in which ASUS sells the prizes available in the Giveaway.
Void Where Prohibited. The Giveaway is subject to all applicable federal, state, provincial, municipal and local laws and regulations. Void in the territories or countries where applicable laws either (i) prohibit participating or receiving a prize in giveaways; or (ii) require extra process (such as registration and reporting) for holding giveaways or providing prizes exceeds certain value; or (iii) countries currently in war.
Giveaway Period. The giveaway period which is scheduled to be on Jan 9, 2024 at 09:00AM Pacific Standard Time (“PST”) and ends on Jan 9 ,2024 at 11:00 AM PST (“Giveaway Period’).
How to Enter:
To be eligible for the Giveaway, during the Giveaway Period, Eligible Entrant must
Watch the CES 2024 ASUS Launch Event livestream on YouTube during the Giveaway Period. The livestream will be accessible on the ASUS Global YouTube Channel (https://www.youtube.com/@asus) and on CES 2024 ASUS event site (https://asus.com/event/ces/).
During the livestream, random codes will appear in the video from time to time. Participants need to collect a total of 4 digit codes.
ASUS will provide a link to the Gleam raffle platform in the video description on YouTube livestream video page. Participants must go through the link to enter and fill in required information and the random codes collected from the video.
The Gleam platform will be open for one hour after the livestream ends. The Gleam platform will be closed afterwards.
Selection of Winners:
There will be maximum thirty-seven (37) Prize winners (“Winners”) randomly selected from all Eligible Entrants received for the Giveaway on Gleam.
ASUS will announce on its ASUS Global Instagram, ASUS Global Facebook, ASUS Global Youtube, and ASUS Global Twitter page within twenty (20) days after the end of the Giveaway Period (“Announcement Date”).
Each individual may enter the Giveaway only once regardless of method of entry. Any additional entries beyond the first entry will be ignored, and not be eligible for the Giveaway.
ASUS reserves the right to disqualify entries which are (a) incomplete, (b) suspected of being false or answered in bad faith, (c) illegible, (d) contain sexual content or are otherwise offensive or objectionable; or (e) not in compliance with these Official Rules.
Prize, Approximate Retail Value (“ARV”). The Winners of the Giveaway will receive one of the following Prizes: an ASUS Vivobook Go with an ARV of three hundred forty-nine US dollars and ninety-nine cents ($349.99 USD), an ASUS Zenscreen with an ARV of three hundred forty-nine US dollars and ninety-nine cents ($349.99 USD), or an ASUS Chromebook Plus with an ARV of three hundred ninety-nine US dollars and ninety-nine cents ($399.99 USD)."
Winners shall inform ASUS of their contact information by email (global_socialmedia@asus.com) within 5 days after the Announcement Date. Failure of a Winner to provide their contact information to ASUS within this period will be deemed a waiver of the right to claim the awarded Prize. ASUS, at its sole discretion, reserves the right to conduct a redraw to select a substitute winner. Winners are required to reply to the Prize notification with their full name, physical address, and phone number in order to receive the Prize. This data will only be used for the delivery of the Prize to the Winners. Winners guarantee that all information provided is accurate and truthful. ASUS reserves the right to reject winning claims with incomplete or incorrect information.
Taxes. Winners are responsible for all applicable taxes and expenses not specified in the Prize description. It is the Winners' responsibility to comply (at their own expense) with any applicable laws requiring payment of any tax, duty, levy or similar impost relating to the award of the prize, and ASUS shall have no responsibility in respect thereof.
No Transfer. The Prize is not transferable, and no cash alternative or Prize substitutions are available. However, ASUS reserves the right to substitute cash or a similar Prize of equal or greater value should the described Prize be unavailable for any reason. If the Winner does not accept delivery of the Prize, it may be used as an award at a future event."
This Giveaway is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with Instagram, Twitter, Facebook and YouTube (“Social Media”). Participant agrees to grant the foregoing Social Media a complete release regarding this Giveaway. You acknowledge you are providing your comments and Personal Information to ASUS and not to Social Media; and such information and Personal Information will only be used for this Giveaway.
The value of Prizes varies depending on region and inventory supply, while the value of products varies depending on country/region and retail channels.
