ERMS AND CONDITIONS
Thank you for your interest in our “Trip to Las Vegas” promotion (the "Prize Draw"). These are the terms and conditions (the "Terms and Conditions") for the Prize Draw. Entry/claim instructions form part of the Terms and Conditions and by entering this Prize Draw, each entrant will be deemed to have accepted and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions, so please read the following carefully. NO PURCHASE NECESSARY.
The "Promoter" is Alpine Racing Limited (company number 01806337) whose registered address is Whiteways Technical Centre, Enstone, Oxfordshire OX7 4EE, UK. The Promoter has engaged the services of CSM Sport and Entertainment LLP (company number OC368517) and Greenroom Digital Ltd (company number 11337598) to assist with the running of this Prize Draw, the collection and management of data and the selection of the winners (“Data Processors”/ “agents”).
Eligibility and Entry
The Prize Draw is open to anyone EXCEPT the following who are not eligible to enter: employees, consultants, contractors or agents of the Promoter or any of its Affiliates, their families or anyone else professionally associated with the Prize Draw (including the Data Processors). For the purpose of these Terms and Conditions, “Affiliate” shall mean any company forming part of the Renault group.
Entrants must be 21 years or over.
There is no entry fee and no purchase necessary to enter this Prize Draw.
The opening date is 00:01 (BST) on 16th October 2023 and the closing date is 23:59 (BST) on 24th October 2023 (“Closing Date”).
To enter the Prize Draw, each entrant will need to submit the information required in the online entry form and confirm its personal data use preferences.
There is a maximum of 1 entry per person. Sharing of accounts for the purposes of this Prize Draw is not allowed. If the Promoter discovers or has reasonable grounds to believe that you have exceeded the maximum number of entries, you may be disqualified.
The Promoter will not accept entries that are: (a) automatically generated by computer; (b) completed by third parties or in bulk; (c) illegible, have been altered, reconstructed, forged or tampered with; (d) incomplete; (e) on behalf of another person; or (f) joint submissions. If the Promoter discovers or has reasonable grounds to believe that you have exceeded the maximum number of entries or breached this clause 7, the Promoter may disqualify you.
Each entrant is eligible to win only 1 prize during the Prize Draw.
Entries received after the Closing Date will not be accepted. No bulk, consumer group or third-party entries will be accepted. Incomplete entries will be disqualified and will not be counted.
The Promoter and/or its agents do not accept any responsibility whatsoever for any technical failure, regardless of cause, including, for example, equipment failure, network, server, computer hardware, the entrant’s social media privacy settings or software failure of any kind; which may restrict, delay or prevent the sending or receipt of your entry.
The Promoter and/or its agents do not accept any responsibility for entries not received for whatever reason.
The Promoter reserves the right to refuse to award a prize to anyone in breach of these Terms and Conditions. If the Promoter has grounds to suspect any entrant or third party of cheating, deception or fraudulent or unsportsmanlike-like conduct of any kind (including, without limitation, manipulating any entry) the Promoter reserves the right (in its sole discretion) to disqualify any entrant, entry or person it reasonably believes to be responsible for, or associated with, such activity.
Prizes
The Promoter is offering one set of prizes for one winner (and their guest). The prize bundle is set out below.
a. 2 nights for 2 persons in 1 room at The Venetian Resort from 17th November 2023 to the 19th November 2023
b. Travel to Las Vegas (totalling no more than £1000 total)
c. Ultimate Las Vegas Experience with BWT Alpine F1 Team
The prizes are as stated, and no cash or other alternatives will be offered.
The prizes cannot be transferred, refunded or exchanged. Prizes are subject to availability and the Promoter reserves the right to substitute the prizes (or any part of them) without notice with another of equivalent or greater value.
In relation to the prizes:
a. The winner may select one other person to take with them as their guest.
b. Travel expenses are capped at a total of £1000. The winner and their guest must organise and pay for their own travel arrangements above this value.
c. Transfers between hotel, circuit and the airport in Las Vegas are not included. All transfers and travel in and around Las Vegas, and transfers from the winner’s home destination to local airport are not included.
d. Any amendments to confirmed bookings will be subject to the third-party supplier’s acceptance and may require payment of administration charges which shall be required to be paid by the winner if such changes have been requested by the winner.
e. All other taxes, duties, supplements, drinks, food, tips and expenditure of a personal nature are excluded unless otherwise stated.
f. No travel, medical or other insurance is included. The winner and their guest are advised to take out their own insurance.
g. The winner is responsible for ensuring that they and their guest: (i) have a valid passport with sufficient validity before its expiry (ii) have a valid visa where required and (iii) meet all relevant visa and/or other entry requirements including any medical/health screening (including COVID-19) requirements or similar.
h. If you or your guest are unable to travel or take up the prize for any reason or at any stage during the trip: (i) you must notify the Promoter as soon as possible (ii) neither the Promoter nor The Venetian® accept any responsibility and (iii) the Promoter may withdraw the prize (in whole or part) and pick the next eligible entrant.
i. The winner is responsible for informing the Promoter of any wheelchair or similar access requirements when taking up the prize, and for ensuring they and their guest adhere to all applicable health and safety guidelines.
j. Elements of the prize, such as the flight, hotel, tickets and entry to the track and associated areas, may be subject to additional terms and conditions, amendment and/or cancellation. The Promoter shall not be responsible for: (i) compliance with such terms and conditions or (ii) for any such amendment and/or cancellation by a third party.
k. The Prize shall not constitute a ‘package’ under the Package Travel and Linked Travel Arrangements Regulations 2018 (the “Regulations”) and the Regulations shall not apply.
l. The winner is responsible for all and any damage incurred or caused by them during their stay at The Venetian Resort and the winner shall indemnity The Venetian Resort for any such losses, damages and costs incurred by them as a result of any actions of the winner and/or their guest during their stay.
Winners – Selection
The winners will be selected by the Promoter and/or the Data Processors at random from all valid entries received and verified by the Promoter and/or its agents.
The Promoter will make reasonable efforts to contact the winners, including via email (using details provided at entry) within 36 hours after the Closing Date set out in clause 4. If a winner cannot be contacted or does not claim his/her prize within 36 hours of notification, the Promoter reserves the right to withdraw the prize from said winner and pick the next eligible entrant. The Promoter does not accept any responsibility if you are unable to take up the prize within the timescales set out in this clause 18.
Personal Data: Collection and Processing
Details of how the Promoter will collect and process your personal data are set out in our Privacy Notice and these Terms and Conditions. Your personal data will be shared with the Data Processors to assist us with the collection, storage and management of data and selecting and contacting the winners.
General
The Promoter’s decision in respect of all matters to do with the Prize Draw will be final and no correspondence will be entered.
The Promoter reserves the right to hold void, cancel, suspend, or amend the Prize Draw where it becomes necessary to do so (including in the event of unforeseen circumstances making the administration of the Prize Draw impossible or impractical). The Promoter will not be liable for any loss whatsoever as a result of cancellation of the Prize Draw.
Insofar as is permitted by law, the Promoter, The Venetian®, and their agents or distributors will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate any winner or accept any liability for loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of taking up the prize except where it is caused by the negligence of the Promoter, The Venetian® and/or their agents or that of their employees. Your statutory rights are not affected.
This Prize Draw is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by or associated with Facebook, Instagram or any other social media channel. By entering, entrants acknowledge that Facebook and Instagram do not bear any responsibility for this Prize Draw and, to the maximum extent permitted by law, entrants release Facebook and Instagram from any liability whatsoever in connection with this Prize Draw.
The Prize Draw and these Terms and Conditions will be governed by English law and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England.
If any clause in these Terms and Conditions should be determined to be illegal, invalid or otherwise unenforceable, then such clause or part of such clause shall be severed and deleted from these Terms and Conditions and the remaining clauses shall survive and remain in full force and effect.
These Terms and Conditions prevail in the event of any conflict or inconsistency with any other communications, including advertising or promotional materials.
The Promoter must either publish or make available information that indicates that a valid award took place. The name and country of each winner will be made available after the conclusion of the Prize Draw for one calendar month from the conclusion of the Prize Draw. To obtain this information, please contact the Promoter by writing to: Alpine Racing Limited (FAO: Legal Department), Whiteways Technical Centre, Enstone, Oxfordshire, OX7 4EE, United Kingdom. If you object to your surname or country being published or made available, please contact the Promoter at this address. In such circumstances, the Promoter must still provide the information and winning entry to the Advertising Standards Authority in the UK on request.
It is acknowledged that “The Venetian®” is a registered trade mark and is used (together with other trade marks) by the Promoter and the Data Processors/agents under licence for promotional purposes in relation to the Prize Draw.
